History
The story begins at some kilometers from the Angkor temples, in the front of the stalls of the Old Market Psa Chas. Since 1999, we accommodate you in our shops in order to make you discover the thousand and ones wonders which the Cambodian Kingdom offers.
Cambodia’s wonderful culinary and olfactory heritage is the inspiration for our company. Senteurs d’Angkor prides itself on sourcing all of its products in Cambodia, from the raw ingredients to our packaging materials. Only a small percentage of items that cannot be found within Cambodia come from outside the country. This philosophy ensures that jobs and incomes stay within Cambodia, helping to address the country’s poverty and reduce dependence on imports.
The quality and authenticity of our creations, as well as the finesse and novelty of our packaging, makes our products authentically Cambodian. We use the finest raw ingredients from all over the country. Spices, tea, coffee, cashew nuts, lotus flowers, coconut oil, honey, rice alcohol and more are carefully selected and handcrafted in our production workshop in Siem Reap.
Philosophy
In line with our philosophy, most of our packaging comes from the sugar palm tree, an abundant, natural and recyclable resource in Cambodia. We purchase the sugar palm by-products from rural parts of Cambodia and employ local women weavers from villages in Siem Reap province, all of which contribute to sustainability and poverty reduction in rural Cambodia.

Tea and coffee
In Asia, tea is traditionally used for its taste as well as its numerous curative virtues. Our coffee grows in the hills of Rattanakiri Province in the northeast of Cambodia. Coffee lovers will appreciate the special aroma of this strong and tasty coffee.
